Cathi is running a fever, but so far no sign of a problem where they did the surgery. She said they put about
100 staples in and they have been keeping a check on the area and so far things are looking normal for this type of surgery. They are concerned because of the fever. I told her about
Jo-Anns power prayer and how I was sure after all those prayers, things would improve a lot. She was so touched by that. I have no idea how she does it, but she is dealing with this so much better than I ever could. It was nice to be able to tell her about
all the well wishers. I was not able to get an answer until last night. She told me not to worry if anything was really wrong her daugher was going to call. Its still ever so nice to talk to her and know for sure all is going as well as can be expected. Love and Hugs Joyce

Some good news. Cathi is very strong and is such a loving example to all of us. She is in my prayers as are all of you on the board. Will be praying tomorrow.

Thanks again for the update, Joyce. It sounds as though Cathi has her usual positive attitude. I can't imagine what 100 staples would be like. My grandson had about
20 when he had the osteochondroma removed from his leg and it looked like a long incision. I am sure everyone will be thinking of Cathi during power prayer Sunday tomorrow and it will give her some comfort to know she is so loved. Hugs, MK

Joyce, please tell Cathi that we're so glad to hear such positive news! Hopefully the drs will get that fever under control soon. Give our dear friend a gentle hug and tell her she continues in my prayers.

It would seem everyone started their prayers early. Cathi is doing better and wants to come home. I called to have coffee with her this morning and she said she was able to wash her hair and she wanted to see the doctor and come home now! LOL It sure sounded good to my ears. I told her to relax and enjoy being waited on. Sometimes you feel great when you are in the hospital and you come home and just do not feel like getting something for yourself so you do without. She reminded me how I complain when I am in the hospital so I shut up. LOL Now I can pray for continued good luck with this new bone. Thanks everyone for asking. L&H and hope the next post is from Cathi.

Joyce,
Thank you so much for the updates on Cathi. She has been in my thoughts and prayers. Hope that this latest surgery heals in a hurry.
If you talk to her, please tell her that I am thinking of her and sending some of my angels to surround her with love and lots of healing.
Hugs,
Debbie

Oh, I'm so glad she's fiesty again. I hope this really addresses the pain she was in. Cathi: You are so strong! I'm glad things are looking up, friend.
