It seems as if I went back to work too soon.  Tuesday morning I felt great, but by the afternoon, I was in a lot of pain.  Took a Vicodin when I got home.  Wed. morning I was so tired when I got to work.  All my co-workers were yelling at me to go home, telling me I came back too soon, etc.  I went home at noon.  I had a check up with the surgeon in the afternoon anyway.  He took one look at me and knew I wasn't feeling well.  He agreed I went back too soon.  He told me to take the rest of the week off.

 

I guess I didn't realize how major this surgery was.  I hate to admit I'm not Wonder Woman!  LOL  The good news is, doc says everything looks great.  And, the cat stepping on the breast didn't harm anything.  What a relief!

Kathy,

So glad you are doing ok with the doc and that the dear cat didn't do anymore damage other than put you in some discomfort.  But.....I know how much of a shake-up it is to realize we are not WONDER WOMAN!!!.  So take care of yourself and take the well deserved rest.  Reality comes soon enough!!!

There is nothing wrong with taking a little more time off, enjoy it! Get a good book or rent some movies. You need to rest and get your strength back. Hope the rest og the recovery goes great.

Hard to admit we don't bounce back as quickly as we think we will, isn't it, Kathy?? Take it easy and let nature do some healing before you push yourself too hard. Gentle hugs, Lauri
