It was the wife of Sen. Edwards. I forgot her name. He was Kerry's running mate and I think her BC was dx'ed or announced a day or so after the election.

I got an email from Elizabeth Edwards the other day about her new book "Saving Grace" that is due out. It is supposed to be about the support of family, friends and strangers and how much it helped her. Amazon has it listed for $16.95 for preorder and you can get it through the Amazon connection here and help Healingwell at the same time.

I can't figure out why you would be getting elephant mail, Joyce. It should be from the donkeys............. lol. Gees I love the way the powers of internet send us emails after things we do. My grand daughter uses my computer to check into things for a new mother and her interests and now I am plagued with emails for baby stuff etc. And I try not to stray into unknown territory that might take me near something that is a no-no subject, all of a sudden emails come from them, too. The other day I was googling something and almost hit the wrong selection, am I glad I caught myself.

Meanwhile I am still in a strange mood and not real excited about posting, altho I do keep an eye on the posts. Big hugs, MK

Well, I'm glad someone knew who she was. Most days, I'm lucky to know who I am. The only email I get is from Kinky Friedman's campaign and that's cause I want it. Go Kinky!

Now, about money requests for the elephants and what to do: Everytime I would bake a turkey, my Mitchell always cleaned up tlhe wishbone and kept it in the corner of the kitchen window.

When asked why he would do that, his answer was "So we don't have elephants in the yard". Someone would always say, "But we don't have elephants here" and he would say "See, it's working".

Well it works better than that, I don't get ANY propaganda or money pleas from Republicans.

Bernadette, you may be the victim of "chemo brain". I haven't had a challenge as the "Chemobrain Queen" in some time. I am now over ten years out and it doesn't get better. You can find out about it on the net. I wrote a poem about it some time ago. I will see if I can find it.

Joyce, you need to stop confusing dumb and stupid with chemo brain and the nature process, CRS. You are NOT dumb, NOT stupid, and if you were, do you think we would let you pilot the PCE? We've had no mishaps and only a chocolate shortage here and there, and you're not responsible for refreshments.

Your method of telling them you will remember the gas prices before the election, I am going to use that one, if I may. Not that I have anyone to tell it to now but the thought of GWB turns my stomach. We have now degraded to a country where B/C is rampant, treatment and meds virtually unaffordable, but we can treat ED, 98% cure rate of prostrate cancer, and spend millions of OUR money on illegals. Time to get off the soapbox before I get really started.

So, Joyce, I have two questions that have nothing to do with any of this. How do you know if sour cream has gone sour? Who was the sob who invented invisible thread? He certainly never had to thread it through a sewing machine needle. (Deep sign)

Jo-Ann, sour cream is good for one week after the date on the container. I have been told that people push it until there is a mold which is enough to tell anyone (even me) this has had it. If you ever get a chance to read what Erma Brombeck says about "True American garbage", do your self a favor and read it. I got a real chuckle out of that one. I could swear she was looking over my shoulder and listening to me. The shoe really fit. I liked the one where she said left overs that are not to be touched go on the top shelf, because she had plans for them. The next day was hot dogs at the park or some such reason and the left overs go down on the second shelf. So on and so forth until the end of the week and its on the bottom shelf.... and now is authentic American Garbage. How many times did I do that before I quit kidding myself and started to fix platters for the shut ins. As for invisible thread, now I ask you, this is serious chemo laps.........Are you asking me about sewing? You made the quilt....I did the applause for your efforts. You do remember my making the skirt for 8th grade class? How I had to wear it and ended up the day in a waist band? After I tried sewing, I decided algebra was easy. LOL Thanks for the chuckle.
