Gallbladder,nodule on lung

eyes  Hi Ladies,I was having alot of stomach aches so i had a cat scan and the surgeon called and said i have Gallstones and i need my Gallbladder removed so i ask for the report and it doesnt say anything about gallstones and my family Doctor doesnt know what the surgeon is talking about.What do you think about this?also he said i have a small solid nodule on my left lung,thats the side where i had breast cancer,but he told me not to worry about this nodule that97%of these are nothing but what if im one in the 3%.Friday i have a colonoscopy and the test down the throat,surgeon said chemo can cause problems in some of our organs.I just neede to talk to someone about all this,thank you for listening.  Tammy

Boy Tammy, I don't blame you for wondering about this.Are they sure they were looking at your results and not someone elses? One Dr saying gallstones and the report says nothing about that? Weird. I would ask about this.
Also, I agree about the 3%. I would not just wait and see, I would want to be sure! All of us here understand that the "wait and see" advice is many times incorrect! Why worry about it, see about getting a biopsy, or whatever they do for lung nodules. I hope they are right and it is nothing, but I know you are not going to want to worry about it, and I know you will worry, just like the rest of us would. Please keep us informed ok? Hang in there, we are always here for you.

Well as a veteran of nodules I can assure you to calm down. I tell myself that every time and I am actually getting better each time. I have now been told three times I have suspected lung cancer. I am up to 4 different nodules. Seems as if the scar tissues scare the doctors silly. Could this be due to lawyers circling every diagnosis? I was in an accident and broke my ribs, after this I had the radiation with extra fields because of the type of cancer I had and my Rad. Onc. explained my ribs are now like turkey bones that have laid out in the hot sun for a year. This area shows up as a big possible. I know after one diagnosis you can not help but panic. I found out a while ago that this type of scare is normal after radiation. Get it checked quickly,but try not to let yourself climb up on the ceiling until you verifiy there is a good reason to be there. Take it from one that was on the ceiling so quickly I got caught on the fan. I Hope this helps until you can get it checked out. Sometimes its a long time from hearing this type of thing to being told its nothing. Hope your news makes you smile. As for the Bladder I would get a front row chair and ask them to explain that and watch the show. I love to watch doctors moon walk. It should be interesting and please let us know how you make out.

Well i had the colonoscopy and endoscopy(throat)I have a medium size Hiatal Hernia,3 Biopsys done.I had no pollups.So now i have surgery on Dec.1 to have gallbladder removed(Gallstones)Keep me in your prayers(Strength).Oh by the way for those of you thinking about a colonoscopy,the worst part was the preparation,drinking the liquid stuff,i was a sleep and didnt feel anything.  Tammy

Sorry to hear about the gallbladder.  It just never seems to end, does it?  Also glad the tests weren't that bad.  Hope you are feeling better.

If you remember I had lots of nodules in my lungs and I had to have a Mediastinoskopy, they usually do a Bronkoskopy but they did the more invasive one on me. The worst part for me is that I now have a scar on my neck. It looks like I have had my thyroid out. My neck was sore for a few days but that is all. I have had problems with my gallbladder for years but they won't take it out because I don't have stones it just gets inflamed some times.......go figure. Did they get biopsies of your lungs with the endoscopy?

I hope you are feeling better and good luck on the 1st.

now the surgeon is saying he wants me to have a Hiatal scan(wed)to see if my Gallbladder is working right.about the nodule on my lung he said i will have another Cat scan in 3 months.  Tammy

Bernadette,what did your Doctor say about the nodules on your lung,I cant remember(chemo Brain is still hangin on) Tammy

I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis it is an auto immune disease. I had too many nodules to count them. Chemo made them go away and then they came back and he put me on steroids but I have not had a CT scan since then. I can tell they are groing again because it is hard to breath again. I HATE those steroids I went off of them before I was supposed to. They are awful.
