Saying Hi After My Big Hysterectomy

Just wanted to stop in and tell everyone Hi.  I had my surgery on Thursday (the 19th) and got home on Saturday. Haven't spent alot of time on my puter since then, but wanted you all to know what has been happening to me.  If you remember from previous posts, they found abnormal cells in my uterus and cervix so recommended a hysto! OUCH!!!!  Since not having periods for 20 years since my chemo induced menapause this is kind of ironic huh?  Well, at any rate I would certainly appreciate any good vibes from my breast friends for clear results of the pathology reports, which I should get in a week or two.

PS. I should have asked for that special PCE for last Thursday but was busy getting the house in order and doing last minute things to get ready for the BIG day.  )-:

Yes, I think we should round up the crew for the PCE (Tavish is ready) to be with you, Deb, for your recovery. I am so glad your're home and feel confident about your path results. I think all will be well and will be a little better with chocolate.

OK, I'm up for a non-surgical PCE trip.  Let me just grab my things and I'll be right along!  Hugs from Calif and hope the path report is a good one.

Oh!  I didn't know and I wish I had.  It's such an upheaval to have one of those.  I hope that the path comes back clear and you recover well.  Watch any lifting or premature activity.  Don't aggrivate the area at all if you can help it.  Scar tissue is a pain, literally
