I re-took up my jewelerymaking because I can't plant yet and I was going a little stir crazy.  Did a craft show and am doing another maybe on Mother's day, definately 2 in June.

 

I made some pink breast cancer awareness bracelets, along with notification about HW site and a notice that I'm donating 1/2 the profits from the sale of the bracelets to the site.  It's going well so far.  I'll let you know how it does.

That is wonderful, Ellen!! I hope that the bracelets sell well and even more people that need some help find this place! Great thing to do Ellen, you're a sweetheart!

Hey, Ellen...Do you have pics of your bracelets? I'd love to see what they look like. What a wonderful thing. I wish I could find time to explore my creative side. It has been sorely neglected for many years now. Truth be told, I guess it isn't lack of time, but merely lack of "gumption."

Didn't someone from our old neighborhood design a "lymphadema" bracelet, or something?

Anyway...would love it if you would post a pic that we can access.

Wow, Bev, what a memory you have! Yes, I think Shevacatmom (don't ask me how I remember that!) desinged a bracelet that was a cuff style. I did not buy one, but remember the design process.

Ellen, good luck with the sale of them and the others. Posting a picture would be a great idea!

My creative side is alive and thriving.......however........my technological side has yet to show itself.  I will make an attempt.  Thank you for the compliments.

I am excited about seeing your creation.  Get that tech side of you up and running.

OOOOOOoooooooooo, yes, I'd love to see them, too.  I used to do a lot of craft-type stuff, but not much anymore.  It's a lot of fun.  Good luck and I hope you sell a lot.

I would love to see them too. Hope you can figure out a way to let us see your specialities. Sure wish that I was handy like you. My 12 year old granddaughter loves to do bead work and she is really good at it.

Ellen! My business is helping clients with template websites (not custom programmed ones, those are expensive!). Email me and I'll explain what you need to do to get started with Network Solutions or Yahoo or one of those Hosting Companies...it's about $200-$300 to sign up with them for a year. My customization services are usually to take the website beyond that inital point and develop it to what the client needs/wants. But I can get you started at no charge of course! I think you need a basic website just to get your pictures up !! Contact me thru my website...

Or, if you have a yahoo account, you can create a yahoo photos account and upload your pictures there.  I'd love to see the bracelets too!
