I think I know what happened to her. She found out her good friend MK has turned into Mrs. Farmer Chuck . Word is out that Chuck bought a tractor and that has sealed her fate. She has been officially declared a farmers wife. I mean MK swore she would never move to a farm and if I know Jo-Ann, she is trying, so very hard, not to take advantage of this one. I know I have at least 20 one liners for this and am hardly able to behave. Let me just say this, I told Jo-Ann that I got my flying pig out and let it fly around the room to celebrate our being right again. Poor MK never saw it coming. Fishing pond, hay and lots and lots of critters and she was still telling us it was not a farm......Tee hee Jo-Ann is a much nicer person than I am. I was totally unable to sit on my hands with this one. I thought I did good just posting this. All joking aside I am starting to worry about her also. Hope she jumps in on this one, even if its short and sweet to let us know she is ok.

I think MK is much too busy polishing those kitchen counters to worry about the critters, the hay, or the John Deere. And I'll bet Jo-Ann is down at the barn right now, bartering with Chuck. He'll get a turn with her rototiller if he'll let her ride his John Deere for the day.

I can just picture her, with her straw cowboy hat and no shirt, happy as a lark on that tractor. She'd be half-way home before Chuck would figure out she wasn't bringing that sucker back. Hell's Hooterless Angel strikes again.

Where are you, Jo-Ann??? I miss you, too.

You all are just what I needed after a very rough day! Maybe you are what Jo-Ann needs too.

I finally heard from her when I was about ready to send out the calvary and I told her she needed to come post and at least say Hi. Well, that was days ago, over a week ago and I haven't heard from her again nor has she posted. I think the only reason she called that day was because she got called to jury duty, took a doctor's excuse that she has too many medical conditions to serve on a jury and they refused to consider it, after sitting around a few hours they sent her home to come back at 1:00. When she drove all the way back they told her the case was settled out of court and she could go home. She was royally PO'd as you can imagine.

Remember I told you all I didn't want a farm because I had been there, done that and earned a very fancy T-shirt from years of duty. In Ohio we did over 200 acres, so the 34 here is not really a problem for me. However, yesterday Carolyn and her husband and two old men (Michael's dad and Chuck) baled and gathered well over a hundred bales of hay. Their equipment, Chuck is rebuilding his Deere before he can use it. I found the tractor on eBay located in Hot Springs, AR and then found him a plow in IN. Both are here and he thinks I am okay at finding him good eBay buys. LOL

Meanwhile in my world, I do not worry about all those cabinets, I cook when I feel like it and clean up the dishes but it is far from neat and spotless. The rest of the time I am on the computer or reading. It is pure joy to sit out on the patio when the weather is nice and read to the birds singing.

Jo-Ann does like it here, but she is really not supposed to drive far from home because of her blocked arteries. I may have to go get her??? And that is Chuck you are picturing with the straw hat out there or Michael's dad. They do not go shirtless, tho.

I read him your posts and he said to tell you if you had been here yesterday you could have had a good time, too. So I guess he is telling you that you are welcome to come and have fun on the farm. I'm not sure the fish in the pond are big enough for fishing, but we do have a Great Blue Heron that comes to eat occasionally.
