Hello from the little house on the prairie. I have severe pc problems but am working on them. There's just a lot of testing to find the exact problem. My pc is only a partial dinosaur. Every time something breaks, I just fix it. Worst case? It will be about $200 for parts. Cheaper than a new one and I like the challenge. I've got two commitments for the next week and then it's pc time. It just doesn't boot up most of the time.

And, I will be working on some stories soon. But, before I go, please consider the following:

NEVER get on your knees to put plants in your garden, wearing shorts, when there are chiggers in the yard. nono

Well stranger you had us all out looking for you! We were really starting to worry about you and then MK did an update and told us about your PC problems. I had tons of problems with mine a few months ago and then it died completly. I know that you mentioned putting $200 into your dinasaur, you might consider just buying brand new. I got a great deal on a Toshiba lap top for only $500, so you might want to check that out.

Cant wait for some of your stories, so get that PC up and running again.

Jo-Ann,

It is so nice to hear from you.  PC problems are the worst.  Our operating system went out in March and we had the Geek Squad back-up data. Then install a new OP.

I am the family genealogist and I forgot to ask them to backup my genealogy data.  I cried for about a week and have just now started to recreate all the data.  Good thing I used the old paper file method.  I at least have that.

about that chigger warning, do you have plenty of nail polish on hand (or should I say BUM)

Hope you get everthing up and running again soon, we miss your posts and funny stories.

Glad to hear from you, too.  I miss your stories.  My DH keeps whining that he wants a new laptop.  I told him to just buy one.  Like Bernadette said, you can get one for around 500-600 and it will be great!

Well, all I can say is I am suffering here. I thought for sure you would have a really good zinger for the new farmers in the Texan hood. LOL I can hardly wait. I will be doing my parts dance for you, because I am almost prepared to bet a J.D. Mug that you will fix that dino one more time. Challenge met and won will probably be your next post? On another note, my daughter bought a property in Texas on the Gulf Coast and I told her that was a bad move. All she carries is a stun gun. Now I ask you, how can anyone own property in Texas with a weapon like that? Love and hugs. Joyce

Well, at least we don't have to send out a search party, although I've heard Bernadette has some fine headlights she could put to work!

Jo-Ann, I don't know whether your struggle with that darned computer is a labor of love or a gauntlet that been thrown down, but I know whichever, you will succeed or die trying. Let's hope it's the former and not the latter!
