I and DH are off to Ohio tonight for the weekend.  We are visiting my ex-BIL for probably the last time.  We had a scare this past week.  He was hospitalized at the Cleveland clinic and were afraid this was it.  Well, he went home today, so they haven't given up on him yet.  I am looking forward to seeing my entire family.  AND, I get to see Annette (desertdreaming).  She will be in town, too, and her sister (my sister-in-law) is hosting a brunch on Sunday.  We will be able to compare our TRAMs - LOL!!! 

 

It looks like I've missed a lot on here and will try to catch up when I return.  I see some new-comers that I need to welcome.

 

I give a report when I get back.

Well, I'm back from a whirlwind trip to see my family.  My BIL is out of the hospital for the time being.  He has lost a lot of weight and is very weak.  He doesn't want to eat.  He tries, but doesn't manage to get much down except fruit.  I'm glad I went now, instead of waiting until July.  I don't know how much time he has left, but at least I got to see him while he's still somewhat OK.  It is just so sad!

 

I spent some time with Annette, her hubband and daughter.  They were at my brother's.  He and my sister-in-law hosted a brunch on Sunday and most of my family was there, along with them.  It was a lot of fun.

 

Thanks for listening, even though this doesn't have anything to do with BC.

I had a nice time also. It was good seeing you and everyone else.  I was also glad that I was able to give my parents and Paula good news of my recent tests.  I am still trying to figure out though when Deb met Jordan as I have not see Deb since Paula and Steve's wedding. I only wish the news of Joe was better at this time but there is always hope.

Deb probably only thought she met her before.  I am glad your tests were good.  I wish the news was better about Joe, but it seems he's either given up or the cancer has the best of him.  The main issue now is he just doesn't want to eat.  I have to say, though, that he didn't look as bad as I had expected.  Diana disagrees.  Not sure what Deb thinks.  My understanding is that this type of cancer is very painful in the end and I only hope the doctors can eliviate as much as possible.  There is just no reason for anyone to suffer like that.  I sound like a busted record, but this is just so sad and unfair!!!

 

It was good to see you, DH and Jordan.
