Well, I came through the mastectomy with flying colors.
Came home from the hospital on Saturday, and was in a rental car on my way to Alabama Sunday morning.
My father passed away Saturday evening, they could not release the body until I, who is the eldest of the 3 children released it.
IT just seems that life will not give me any peace, everytime I get through one problem there seems to be another jut waiting in the back to pop out at me.
I did get good news today from the path report...all lymphs were clean, the margin was in excellent range...due to the size of th tumors chemo is sill not ruled out but I will find that out tomarrow.
The plastic surgeon was not able to begin reconstruction due to the lymph nodes, so as soon as I find out tomarrow whether I need chemo or not I will be able to schedule to reconstruction portion
Other then the emotional part of everything, I am feeling great, no pain, it is amazing what they are able to do these days.
I have even gotten over the idea of letting my husband see me with out a top on, he was too amazed out what I have been through and how good verything looks.....Other then walking a llittle lop-sided I am doing fine.lolololololol.
Thanks for all your prayers, and thoughts...THEY WORKED.
