HI LADIES

JUST WANTED TO CHECK IN AND SAY HELLO. I WAS VERY SORRY TO

HERE about VICKY FROM THE OLD NEIGHBORHOOD. I HATE THIS DISEASE.

I HATE HEARING THAT WE ARE CLOSE TO A CURE...I JUST DONT BELIEVE IT....

I FINISHED CHEMO FOR THE 6TH TIME IN EARLY MAY. IN JULY I WENT THRU

15 ROUNDS OF RADIATION TO MY HIP WHICH LANDED ME IN THE HOSPITAL

FOR 3 DAYS. I WILL BE STARTING CHEMO AGAIN PROBABLY IN NOVEMBER BECAUSE

EVERY TIME I FINISH MY NUMBERS START TO SKYROCKET. MY HAIR IS STARTING

TO LOOK DECENT AND I WILL LOOSE IT AGAIN FOR THE 5TH TIME IN NOVEMBER.LOL.

RIGHT NOW I AM FEELING OKAY..JUST GET VERY TIRED AND THE BACK & HIP PAIN IS

BAD, BUT UNDER CONTROL SOME DAYS. I WAS WITHOUT A PC FOR QUIT A WHILE..

BUT I NOW HAVE A NEW LAPTOP AND I AM LOVING IT. MY OLD ONE WAS ANCIENT ..

about 7 YRS OLD. THIS NEW ONE IS A JOY.

I AM HOPING ALL MY OLD BUDDIES ARE DOING OKAY AND THAT THE NEWBIES

ARE FEELING STRONG AND BRAVE. I HOPE THEY GET STRENGTH AND HOPE

AND JOY FROM THE WONDERFUL WOMEN HERE AT HEALING WELL......

Thanks Cathi for the nice message. I know it was very hard for you to sit so long and type at the computer. I'm guessing you are more comfortable lying back in a lounge chair or lying down? I can't imagine going through chemo so many times. You are really something!!! I am glad you got a new laptop. Hope you can stop in more often and say Hi, we always love hearing from you. Dear Cathi...it is always so nice to "hear" your voice! You have one more month of freedom, so enjoy it...and the hair! Hey...I think hair is highly over-rated, anyway. Mine is always a mess, and it was much easier to take care of when there wasn't any!

Did you have a great summer with the grandbabies??? And how's the little kit-kat doing? I got two new grandkittens this summer. They are getting so big! They come visit me every weekend, and I just enjoy the heck out of them.

Cathi I can assure you that it's people like you I get my strength from. Thank you for taking the time to wish us 'newbies' well. I'm sorry that you are having such a tough time, but you sound strong and determined. I admire that in a way that words can't describe.

You are yet one more inspirator I've found on this site!

Cathi, my friend! So glad to 'see' you! And hooray for a new PC, now I hope you can come by more often. You sound like your ole spunky self. I hope that you are keeping busy and happy and feeling well as much as possible.

I'm sorry that rads caused you such grief...it always seems that treatments are unfair to you. (((HUGS))) You are an amazing inspiration to us all Cath....
