Well, I went to see a surgeon yesterday. He said that my lump is definitely a lymph node because of the kidney bean shape and size of 6mm. He said it is not in my breast tissue. I asked why the Radiologist said it was "probably" benign then. He said, which now I have heard so many times, they have nothing to compare it to. I was like you don't either!! He told me I could opt to have a biopsy but it would come back fine because it is just a lymph node. So he said I should wait the 6 months for a re-check. I really don't know how I feel about that appt. He says benign, Radiologist says probably. I did find the name of 2 breast surgeons/specialists out of 2 different, very fine hospitals in the city. This surgeon was not a specialist. I am thinking I will see a specialist for a final opinion. I figure it couldn't hurt, right? Any opinions?
