On wakening up my heart rate is only 48bpm and resting only 60bpm. Is this normal with CFS? Starting to trip myself out with all the breathlessness and endless list of stuff. Doctor just doesnt listen.

Heart palpatations is a symptom of CFS. I often wake with heart palpatations also. It generally happens to me at night when i lay down though. It freaks me out quiet a bit evert time it happens. The only way to explain it would be like a miny heart attack or an anxiety attack. However Every CFS suffer is different no one is the same.

Yes, that is normal for CFS. I fluctuate between a low and high heart rate (normally low and then sometimes palpatations). My doctor has done the 24 hour monitor twice and found some abnormalities consistent with other CFS patients. I was being treated with a beta blocker, but I wasn't able to tolerate it. I'm so sorry your doctor isn't listening to you about
this!

I wonder if anyone has monitored ones Heart Rate Variability and chronic fatigue syndrome. I have had this done at a chiropractors office and continually found my SDNN to be very low. This is a sign of a depressed autonomic nervous system. I think the program they used is by Biocom Technologies
