I have CFS and Fibromyalgia. I haven't been able to work for about a year. I want to put up a website to help other people dealing with Fibro, CFS, and/or Chronic Pain because I feel like helping others in their fight will help me in mine. When I first found out what was wrong with me there weren't many websites out there on the subject. Now there are many great sites to visit. So I'm wondering if the net really needs another website about Fibro/CFS. What do you think? I would like to know what would be helpful to you. What kind of a website have you, my fellow sufferers, been looking for that you would like to see online? What kind of a site on the subject of FM, CFS, and/or Chronic Pain would be most helpful to you? I would love to hear your ides and needs because I don't want to just put up another site with the same information all the other sites have already. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Kitty,
It's me, brynn, again. I moderate this board too! I don't think there is any great need for yet another website since there are hundreds of them out there already. But you are welcome to participate here as much as you want. Good luck

I was really hoping that my fellow sufferers would be able to contribute some of thier real needs or a fresh new spin on the subject that could really help others and me. A site that would compliment this one but maybe be more in dept on just one subject or main concept. Something that maybe they wouldn't go into deeply here. I plan on hanging out here too.

Hi Kitty,
I wish I could help you, really I do. I admire your motivation and your passion to make a difference. But you're asking total strangers to tell you how to apply your passion, how to make a difference, when your passion is something only YOU can know well enough to bring to fruition! I don't know if you have some money "burning a hole in your pocket", or whether you have IT skills and abilities and want to be a webmaster, or exactly how you come to be offering up a website.
But the truth is, there just isn't a "fresh new spin". And there's not going to be anything about CFS that is fresh and new, until research reveals something new. In my opinion, our only hope lies in research. Maybe you could put up a site to raise money for research? Or if it's money that you want to put into a website (as opposed to IT skills, or whatever) maybe just donate the money to research directly? Or if it's IT skills that you have, offer them to an existing website?
There's nothing more I can possibly do to help you. You just can't ask others to choose your own path!
