CFS - Enlarged lymph nodes in your neck or armpits

Holy cow I think I have been in the wrong section of this form, not the Fibro section.

I have been struggling since Feb of this year to figure out what is wrong with me, Doc has been no help so far.

Ultrasound, mammograms, x-rays, blood tests, everything is normal. Still waiting on a CT scan.

but yesterday after talking to a friend who has CFS and inflammatory arthritis and finding things on my own, I now think CFS is what is wrong. I have underlined my problems.

Chronic fatigue syndrome has eight official symptoms, plus the central symptom that gives the condition its name: (From the Mayo-clinic website) I added on somethings after the underlined parts

Fatigue

1 Loss of memory or concentration especially searching for words when speaking

2 Sore throat

3 Enlarged lymph nodes in your neck or armpits 1 armpit since Feb and now the other one for a month or so

4 Unexplained muscle pain

5 Pain that moves from one joint to another without swelling or redness

6 Headache of a new type, pattern or severity

7 Unrefreshing sleep insomnia off and on, mostly on!

8 Extreme exhaustion lasting more than 24 hours after physical or mental exercise off and on

Now some other things going on with me.

Also dry eyes, blurred vision and eye pain, (off and on)I have been to the eye Doc, he just said I have dry eyes

Dry eyes, very thirsty and Vaginal dryness (Sjögren's Syndrome anyone?!)

nausea that comes and goes

Sensitivity to heat, hot weather just knocks me out and drags me down big time (never used to be this way)

It gets so frustrating when your Doc just looks at you like you are nuts, pretty much the last thing he told me was I have chest wall pain and to go to Physical Therapy, because I am an over-weight 62 year old woman with bad posture.

I just got done with PT in Feb because of a strained shoulder, which is better...both of my armpits are sore and swelling at times, along with all the other oddball symptoms..Sheeesh.

Well anyway, does any of this rings bells with some of you suffering with CFS??

There are multiple conditions that would cause enlarged lymph nodes in the neck or armpit. Doesn't that just mean there is an infection in the upper half of your body somewhere?

ive had these darned enlarged nodes for 18 months now!! just cant figure it out. had biopsy to test for lymphoma, but came back as inconclusive...they are not getting bigger just stay the same size and are hard and hurt quite a bit...
I also have all the other symptoms you have. I believe they can all be rectified though and are being caused by something else...I have been tested for hypo and hyper about 3 times and also lyme disease...our bodies are such a mystery!
