I'm new to this forum but have been dealing with this for 4 years. Ever since I got lyme disease. I had a real good summer but towards the end I could feel minor symptoms coming on. Then my kids gave me the flu. After a month recovering from that, things have quickly gone downhill.

I've been completely bed ridden for 2 weeks. Unable to drive and barely have the energy to feed myself. I run a low fever on and off. My heart races every morning and sometimes I feel too tired to breath. Sometimes when i stand up i almost pass out. I've been to walk in clinic twice and they've done/checked nothing.

I'm really scared and at a loss for what to do. It feels like my body is shutting down. Does anyone ever feel this bad? I just don't know what to do. Been trying to get alot of fluids and soup broths and such. Taking some vitamins and adrenal su0plements.

So depressed right now. Glad I found this forum.

Hi LymeRebel, yes...I feel like I'm dying when I have a flare up. I'm 3 months into one right now, and it's wearing on me physically and emotionally.

I'm so, so sorry you're not doing well. Keep going to the doctor until you get some results. Maybe the flu tiggered fibro or CFS. I hope you feel better soon!

Hi, LymeRebel -

Just this very afternoon, as I was laying down in bed, tears were streaming down my face because, yes, I do feel like I am dying.

I swear that I can feel this illness draining the life force out of me.

I wish so very much that I had something comforting to say to you, but at the very least, I wanted to write and let you know that you are not alone.

BTW: I love your spunky user name. I hope you will be feeling more like a rebel very soon.

I can relate to that, its each day the same for me since aging. when i cant find something interesting to do, is all i can feel, like dying. like my breath becomes a stone, my eyes cant open, my heart poorly functioning. and heart attacks which can result in crying.

I'm sorry to hear you have lyme disease. What you're experiencing are things I'm going through as well. A few months ago, I figured in an accident, and although I am seeing an auto accident injury chiropractor now, I don't feel as if I'm recovering as quickly as I should. I'm not taking any drugs for the extreme fatigue and depression, but I am taking a few things for the physical trauma I experienced.

For everyone else who is experiencing what we're going through, all I can say is this: best of luck to us, and keep fighting!

I feel like death almost everyday. i developed pneuomonia and bronchitis and was sick for 3 moths straight on top of the whole CFS/ME thing.. i dont have an appointment until Feb 2nd with my primary to get referred to a Rheumatologist. They keep saying my WBC'S are always elevated and they have no idea why. hopefully the Rheumy will have some answers. If you have the chance. check out my video and share to spread awareness about this horrible illness. We are not getting the proper treatment like other diseases and we deserve it. It's just as debilitating.

You are in my thoughts. We have to push through this.

Hello LymeRebel,

Yes. It sounds like your fatigue was set off by the flu you had. I also had a virus
respiratory flareup during December. During that time, I took a strong cough prescription which
helped with the cough and allowed me to sleep and rest. Now, I'm better.
I also have Lyme. I use a rife machine to treat for that. When I went into the care place
for my cough they said my oxygen levels were low. There are so many things which can
effect how we feel. I was barely able to walk around and was woosie. If you have a good
Lyme doctor, perhaps they can help you. I'd keep trying until I get some help.
I agree with what's said on the posts here. We should not be ignored by any means.
We have to keep advocating for ourselves which is not always easy to do when we're feeling
sick or not thinking clearly. Perhaps you can get a friend or neighbor to go with you when
you see a doctor. Meanwile, take care.

Hi,

I am new to this forum, and really want someone to help me. Does anyone have constant chills in their upper body and arms? Beside the weakness, it's the shivering feelings, that freak me out, and make me totally dysfunctional I had the flu 5 weeks ago, and now I can't get through these symptoms.

Any ideas?
