Anyone have Obstuctive sleep apnea as well as CFS

I was Dx with CFS, Chronic Lyme and Mixed Sleep apnea last summer.
Been on Horowitz protocol 6 months and Cpap for 4 months but not much improvement .
Also ruled out MS at UMass clinic.
Really rough winter with associated depression with CFS.
Short term memory isn't great, but managing to stay employed.

Anyone here get treated for Sleep apnea as well and get partially better ?????

i also contracted Lyme, told i have Fibromyalgia, and sleep apnea.
i believe i have CFS. its this fatigue that is killing me.

i tried the cpap. no go. could NOT sleep with that thing.
then had corrective surgery to enlargen my throat and airway.
still feel the same.

they seem to go hand-in-hand. CFS symptoms say chronic fatigue, pain, and sleep disturbances.

i wish i had an answer for you.. but unfortunately i am in the same position as you.

Cpap is a process. You have to want to get better mare than the annoyance of wearing it. Start with 30 min. while watching TV each night for a week mask only no machine . then 1 hr then try to sleep with it If you wake up and and are frustrated take it off, its ok but try to put it back on later if you can. This is how I did it. Good luck

There is also an implantable device out now .
