Thanks for the post TaniaAust!
I'm not saying CFS isn't possible, but I'll wait until I've tried everything else before declaring that, and I think you can understand why.
That being said, I'm 100% sure I've found what this is (Adrenal Fatigue)
Here is a link to the other long forum that I started about
5 weeks back. It shows my Cortisol and DHEA-S levels from my saliva test, purchased at ZRT Labs. Here is the website ( www.salivatest.com ). Now, I know what you're thinking, what do they offer so they can tell me I'm sick? They offer nothing, but testing. They don't sell any products, or supplements, so they don't stand to gain a profit over declairing a hormonal imballance. I liked this about
this place, so I purchased the test from them, over the other guy. The results are in there. Looking back on everything that I was going through at the time, and how this progressed, I know this was stress that did this. My entire life, I've had a horrible time of dealing with stress.
It just hit me the hardest at this time, and couldn't handle it. I mean, look at what I went through.... I just bought my first house (I make most of the money in the family), I just got married, I was in an auto accident that totaled my car, I changed jobs, and I had a pay check screw up that cost ME over $4,000 in taxes. Let's just say, that's where the wedding money went to..... so as you can see... I was stressed. Ofcourse over this time, I was working out everyday. I did nothing but care about
fitness. I was broke and was living paycheck to paycheck, stressed about
bills, so I never went out, never saw my friends. I was doing the same thing, every day, every weekend.
I sat down a few weeks back with a pen and pad and began to write down all the times I remember thinking to myself.... "this isn't right, why am I tired"?. I also remember the times when I felt 100%. It was when I took a vacation, or stopped working out for a week. I gave myself rest and relaxtion, had some fun and got better. This was in my early stage of Adrenal Exhaustion, so it was easier to achieve. After all the stressful event were over, the stress of being sick and not knowing what it was, was prolonging my recovery. Not to mention, my sugar and carb craving were through the roof, so I just thought " well... .heck, if I'm sick, why not eat like crap". This was the worst way to think, and prolonged my recovery even further. Sugar, caffeine, white flour product wreak havoc on your adrenal glands. I didn't know this, until I read Dr. Wilson's book. I would search day and night over the internet.. .reading various forums, webpages, doctors notes on what could cause fatigue. I've done a lot of research on Adrenal Fatigue.
I will continue with my diagnosis (since Doctors are worthless) of adrenal fatigue until I find cause to no longer continue on this path... meaning, my diet has been great for over a year, I exercise daily, I get plenty of rest, take the supplement needed, and my cortisol/DHEA-S levels are back up to normal range. If that happen, I will look another route. I think it will happen, however the outcome will be better than what I listed.
