Yes, I have talked to my doctor. I still need to do an evaluation to rule out a sleep disorder, but all my lab results are normal. I had hepatitis C, but I have fully recovered from that.
I actually have other symptoms than fatigue. I have had bad memory and concentration pbs but this seems to get much better now. The following additional problems come and go :
- muscle weakness
- urinary frequency
- palpitations
- dizziness
- orthostatic hypotension
- hypotension in general
- ear ringing
- vibrating sensation in the legs
- somnolence
- diarrhea
- tension on the sides of the neck
- chest oppression
- feeling cold
The worst is the fatigue. Most of the time, I don't even feel sleepy, but I have the impression that I am not fully awake, in a trance, or as if I was under the effect of some substance (I don't take drugs, alcohol, and medications except vitamins and minerals). When I take a nap or rest, often I feel much worse after !
The strange thing is this happens some days, it can last 2-3 days, or just a few hours. The rest of the time I can be perfectly OK. I never know in advance when it is going to happen !
I wonder if anyone here has the same kind of experience, if it could be CFS...
