Hi all,

I am currently undergoing lots of tests for both this and that. The doctors have found ulcers in my colon and they think I have either UC or Crohn's. I hav also been diagnosed with hypothyriodism. I am on medication for both illnesses.

My worst symptom is fatigue and I have been reading a bit about CFS, and most of my symptoms are found on the long list of symptoms that go along with this illness. Anyhow, I do have a high white blood count, and have had it since I first noticed something wrong about 9 months ago. I was wondering if anyone here has a high wbc. I was told by a friend that alot of people with CFS do.

As I understand it, CFS is a diagnosis that arises when other things have been ruled out. Overwhelming fatigue, the main symptom of CFS, can also be the result of several other illnesses, including UC and hypthyroidism I believe, and it is important that you keep looking for what might be causing yours, and pursuing any potential treatments.

High white counts generally indecate infection somewhere in you body...........
