Do I have CFS?

Hi everyone, I'm new and I have got some strange and debilitating symptoms which seem to be confusing everyone.  Here's my story - I am 33 and about 1 year ago I got Ross River Virus (mosquito borne virus) it was supposed to last only a few months but I have never been the same since.  Symptoms that I have had ever since are - severe dizziness (think I am going to pass out - this is accompanied with panic about passing out), headaches, sore throat, tiredness, general heat or fever in my body, vertigo (bad!) and sleep disturbance.  These last few weeks my symptoms have gone into overdrive - this has happened at a stressful and busy time in my life coincidentally.  Recently the symptoms have started to include confision, blurred vision, extreme muscle fatigue and even the feeling that I really don't have the strength or ability to stand up or even hold my glass.  I feel like my brain and my body are not connected.  I also noticed that this extreme fatigue and dizziness would follow an activity that may be quite stressful (exam, performance assessment etc).  I feel like I am going to collapse.  It has occured to me that my symptoms are worse as soon as I am under any stress - emotional or physical.

I have been unable to work for over 1 year and my degree which is 95% complete has come to a standstill.  Sometimes I feel confused (mentally) and like I am not in control of my body movements at all.  It is terrifying.  Of course no one seems to know what is wrong with me - oh except that I am "suffering from anxiety." (isn't that a ripper!) I have moments where I feel mentally clear and have enough energy to do a bit of house work or mediating in the garden etc but soon enough I have to lay down again.  Sometimes I am convinced I am dying.  My conditioned has worsened rapidly these last few weeks, perhaps due to stressful demands of my degree.  All has come to a grinding halt now as I can't even drive due to the dizziness.  They found my B12 to be low and injections are helping a little.

I am doing stuff for myself in the alternative therapies and this helps but man would I like to know for sure what I have.  Does this sound familiar to anyone here?  Any advice or directions....thanks and good health to you all.

Pummy, I'm really sorry about everything you have been through and that doctors haven't been able to figure out what is wrong. Don't you just love it when they can't figure out what is wrong, so they try to tell you that you are depressed or anxious? It sounds like you definitely have something going on and the docs need to keep looking to help you figure it out. A lot of us with chronic illness have had to go through several doctors before finding the one who will finally help. I had to go through 3 doctors before I was finally diagnosed with lupus. I agree with Ice Drop about the neuro eval to rule anything out there. I wish I had more answers for you. It could be CFS. You might want to get checked for MS too. Hopefully you'll get some answers soon!

I have CFS, and I have not ever had most of your symptoms.

I would suggest though you start taking PERFECT SOLUTIONS "Ultimate Viral DEFENSE". Find them on the net. and call them....and they will find you a local practitioner who carries this product.

Also get some good Colloidal Silver at the health food store.

These products kill off viruses.
Plus...The silver also kills off parasites, fungi, viruses and bacteria.

They should not interfere with any medical products you might also take,
but check with your physician if you are using any meds.

Drink lots of water to flush out what will die off.
If it is a parasite, it takes a longer time to treat so be consistent!

CFS is bad enough, but LYME and the other viruses you are all talking about, sound to be far worse! I have gotten to a point where I have tried many, many things that did not work well, or at all, and a few that have worked well. There is no single cure to anything, but I do know that each of us has only one immune system. As the immune system gets weaker more and more symptoms occur. I have been so lucky to find products that are taking away many of the worst of my symptoms.

I am hopeful that someday I will be healed. My guess is I have already spent about $20,000 in vitamins and other products since 1984. Mmmmmm......
