Can Neurontin cause fluid build-up and "swelling"?

Have been on Neurontin for many years and never had this before. Upped my nighttime dose by 100 mg and have noticed the last few days have had ankle swelling, esp in the evening. Do my best to keep feet elevated, cut down on salt, etc. to no avail. Wondering if Neurontin or the summer heat is causing this. Am also more thirsty. Will see doctor in a week but wondered if anyone else has experienced this since I know CFS is very much a vascular dx as well. Thanks!

LV, I'm on a very low dose of neurontin (200mg) and have never had th swelling. I did get some weird side effects when I tried to take a higher dose, but no swelling that I remember. You can always look up the side effects online. I think it's a good idea to talk to your doc about it too.
