Hi everyone, I am new here so finding my way around.  I was just so isolated and desperate to find other people with CFS to communicate with who know what I am talking about.  I have had CFS for 4 years and only diagnosed 2 years.  Terrible battle with doctor not to be labelled "depressed" or "menopausal"!!  In the end I paid for my own consultation to get a diagnosis, but have no specialist support locally.

Welcome to HW, we are so glad you found us, I too was going thru test after test after test not knowing what was wrong with me, the pain, the fatigue, memory loss, depression and so forth, I thought I was going insane, I thought everything was in my head because noone had answers for me until I found the right family Dr who actually stopped and listen to me and she referred me to the right Dr who on the spot dx me with Fibro, CFS, Anxiety/panic attacks, anyways enough about me, again welcome and please ask us anything we're here for each other.

Fibromyaligia, dx Oct 2004 but we are sure I have had this for about 4-5 yrs maybe longer.
Chronic fatigue Syndrome dx 1995
Anxiety/Panic attacks dx 1990
M.S. dx June 29th 2005
Anemia dx Jan 2005

Meds: Amitriptyline
Lorazepam
Celexa
Ferrous Glouconate
Ibuprofen 600mg
and soon to start on
Rebif or Avenox

Thanks for the welcome guys.  I hope I can learn a bit how to share my life with this thing 'cos I seem to be going round in circles getting no-where.  confused Seems strange to see myself called Macquelius - it's my dog's name!!  Every user name I tried was already in use.  I knew that one wouldn't be 'cos my daughter made it up.  My real name is Alison
