Does anyone have any views on travel jabs?
I'm going to spend 3 months in South Africa this winter (as an antedote to the UK winter). The bottom line is that no jabs are mandatory (except yellow fever if you have been in a yellow fever area)
Recommended jabs include
Typhoid
Tetanus
Hepatitus
and Malaria tabs.
I am not going to any rural locations. I shall be in urban locations all the time - I am staying with family.
Thus I feel it not necessary to take the risk of upsetting my body (when it is delicate enough) by exposing it to unnecessary stresses.
Any comments or experiences?
