Hello everyone! I am new to this form but not new to healing well. I usually spend time over at the Lyme Disease thread.
Let me make my long story short - I have been dealing with chronic fatigue, brain fog, tingling in my face, headaches, dizziness (especially at night and in the morning), heart palpitations, etc.
This all started about 2.5 years ago and I was finally tested for Lyme which came back positive (western blot test). After this, I started seeing an LLMD which then found that I also had Mycoplasma Pnemoniae and Chlamydia Pneumonia but I am negative for EBV.
After almost 2 years of antibiotic treatment I am still not a whole lot better. The fatigue has improved a little, but not much.
I am hesitant to keep treating Lyme because I almost feel that it is something else since lyme treatment hasn't really helped as much as it should have.
What does everyone else think? Does my case sound typical of CFS? What is the best way to start to fix this? Does anyone ever really improve?
Thank you!
I have been poking my nose around in the Lyme Disease subject for a while now. I havent had the test yet, but I sure have all the symptoms.
From what I can see, there arent many "cured" people out there. If there are, they dont write about
it much. And it looks as if the medical establishment has sort of turned a blind eye.
I have , however read about
some of the things that the "underground" Lyme doctors have been doing with their patients, and some of the stuff just seem a little ridiculous. So I would be careful about
shelling out a lot of money.
