Hi all,
Just wanted to post about some chronic symptoms I've been having since the beginning of July. Around 4th July, I came down with a fever and shortness of breath that ended up with a visit to the ER. What followed felt like a nasty cold or stomach bug. Two times later that month I went to the ER with chest pains and poor circulation which may have been some kind of viral myocarditis. Pretty much since then, I've had a weird, ever-changing constellations of symptoms that come and go, including a sore throat, sneezing, diarrhea, fatigue and feeling sleepy upon waking (no matter how much sleep I get!). I also have a white tongue with brown patches on it and I had a mouth ulcer. And since last week, I've started experiencing muscle twitches and neuropathy that started in my feets and hands and has since spread to my face and neck.
I'm obviously concerned because I don't seem to be improving, and I am of course also alarmed by the new neurological symptoms.
So far I have tested negative for COVID, influenza, Dengue fever (not uncommon in SE Asia where I live) and HIV. Also went to the gynecologist today who thinks I have some kind of bacterial infection.
I suppose it's possible that I have multiple overlapping infections? I wonder also if my immunity has been compromised as I suffered from chronic Lyme disease from 2018-2020, and I took antibiotics consistently from 2019-2020.
If anyone has any insights, I'd be grateful to hear them!
