Well, it's been 5 weeks since I started this thread. I know it wasn't going to be fixed by now, and I probably owe this to my smoking habbit. I'm going to kick this in the next few weeks. I'll be purchasing another Saliva test in the first week of January (2007) to gauge my progress. I also have an Endo appt setup for the 22nd of Jan to have her go a little further in depth of my hormones, and see what my thyroid is doing, since they go hand in hand with adrenal fatigue.

Orion, have you ever tried using the basal temperature test to test your thyroid? You might want to do this and give the results to your doc.
I'm in the process on doing this test. I've arleady started testing myself...just to see how things should work. I was using an electric heater in my room...this time I won't be using it. Also, the electric heater made me sweat at some point during the night but I was too lazy to turn it off, so that was not my true basal temp.
They don't mention anything about
not using an electric heater but they said do not us an electric blanket, becaue it throws off your temp. I believe that the electric heater did throw off my temp, because I tested my temp orally later on, but in another room and my oral temp was 97.
My first temp was taken underneath my arm. It can be taken underneath the arm or orally...or both. Doctors believe that underneath the arm is best since most people don't have infections underneath their arms. Both ways is even better. So far my oral temp had been much lower the my arm test. My arm test was 98.2...which is normal. My oral was 97...which is hypothyroid. So, I don't know if I should take my temp orally or underneath my arm. They also said that if the temp is higher than normal you may have a low grade infection...or you're hyperthyroid.
Other than the use of the the electric heater I don't know why my under arm temp was high. Maybe I do have some type of low grade infection...or maybe it was the heater.
My offical start date will be tomorrow.
