Hi TIna and welcome. about 3 yrs ago I was in the same boat you are in now. I had been diagnosed with CFS a long time ago and eventually went into remission but 3 years ago I got sick again and had bloodwork done and some of it came up indicating lupus. I remember being terrified, but after doing some reading I felt more reassured. If you do have lupus, most people live a normal life span and there is always the hope of remission. Just try to take it one step at a time, although I know it's hard to do. On my signature there are some great lupus resources and info you can read, just click on the link on my signature. Even if your labs don't indicate lupus now, make sure to keep track of your symptoms because it can take a while for things to show up in your bloodwork and it can be a very slow progressing disease, so just keep an eye on things and get labs done if things get worse or new symptoms develop. It took three years for me to get a diagnosis and it was a very frustrating 3 years of being very sick. Over time I had more and more labs come out positive. You are also welcome to post on the lupus forum here. You don't have to have a definite diagnosis to post there. Please keep us updated on what you find out and let us know if you have any other questions. Take care.
