How to give outi nformation on this site without getting the boot

I want to know how to inform people of some information on this forum without getting booted off.  I  have nothing to gain at all from giving this information but feel people should have a chance to make their own decisions on this. I feel we need all the information and help we can get with this disease.

Last week I posted information on Dr. Teitelbaum speaking seminars but was rejected by the site.  Plus I have some other  interesting articles to post.   My email is [email protected] if anyone would like me to pass these on to you.  Bebs

I don't know about the specific post you are referring to, as I just started as a moderator, so unfortunately I can't really help with your specific case. However, usually a moderator will explain why a post was edited or deleted through a post reply or via email. I hope this happened for you. If not, let me know and I will look into it.

I suggest that you review the forum rules (which you can find a link to on the right side of this screen) so that you are clear on what is and is not allowed on the forum. In general if the main purpose of a link is to solicit, sell or promote a product, then it is not allowed. As far as articles, the rules that apply are basically there to protect copyrighted material and prevent lengthy articles from using up a disproportionate amount of the forum's limited resources.

If there is a resource you feel would be especially helpful to members that may fall under one of the forum no-no's, you can submit it to HW Resource Directory for review and permission to post. There is a link for that that you can click on within the Forum Rules page.

Hi bebs, I don't have a lot to add to what pasara said. Like she said, the best thing to do is to review the forum rules. As far as articles go, a lot of people will post a link to the article, so anyone who wants to read it can go to the website where the article is. Any posts about research studies or clinical trials need to be approved by the forum administrator, Peter, prior to posting them. Peter's e-mail is admin @ healingwell.com I'm sorry there had been some confusion about some of this lately. I also don't recall the post you are referring to, although I may have been gone during that time. You don't have to worry about getting banned - the only people who get banned are people who continually spam or flagrently break the rules repeatedly. If you posted something that wasn't supposed to be posted, a moderator will edit it and hopefuly give you an explanation as to why it was edited. If you're ever unsure about something, just ask. I really do appreciate your contributions to this site. All the info you gave about the fibro and fatigue centers was great. I hope you'll continue to post here. Take care
