Kara -
It really depends on what the problems is, what injections they do, and you. It seems that injections are quite the lon shot for most, but do miracles for a few.
I have not had any injections that helped, thus far. Injections cannot undo spinal damage, or nerve problems. They can help with inflammation though - so if your leg pain is from something pinching on a nerve, and the something causing the pinch is inflammation they might help. Considering my are pinched due to disc's bulging against them, and the discs are very happy where they are, can't fix it. However, at the same time, say your pain get's worse when you walk, because it gets swollen, or inflammed or whatever - they might help there. Now sure how much sense that makes....
There are some people who will swear by injections, saying they saved their life. The last place I visited that did them had two people in the waiting room tell me the injections gave them their lives back. One went from being on disability to being able to work full time again, the other said it took her out of a wheel chair - the same guy didn't do anything for me with the injections save put me in debt. I really think it's a wild card. If you haven't had them - give them a try, they may be just what you are looking for.
*hugs*
