If you had a time machine, where would you travel back to and when? Why?
I'll have to think on this one and answer later. There are several times that would be so very interesting.

I wouldn't travel back. I'd just go to Las Vegas pain free. Once there, I'd sit
and watch the people and take notes.

I'm really fascinated with the 1700's for some reason. I would love to travel back then, dress in those beautiful gowns, attend balls, and just view the courtesy and etiquette of that time. The only thing I don't think I would like is having to travel every where by horse (because it would be soooo slow) or having to use the bathroom since they didn't have running water back then. Another time I would love to travel back to is the 1930's and 1940's during the swing era.

I would like to travel back in time to when my mother was still alive so I could spend some precious moments with her. I often dream I am doing this and when I awake, it feels like I have. I miss her terribly. She has been gone for over 25 years now and it still seems like yesterday she was here.

If I could travel back in time.....I'd travel back to the 1700's and own a huge plantation in the south.

Although I'm very tempted by Lindaloo's post - because I'd love to have my parents back for even just a brief time, and sit down to my mother's homemade spaghetti and meatballs and really appreciate it all far more than I did years ago...
if I had a time machine I'd rather go FOWARD to when medical care is a lot like star trek, and "Bones" (the doctor) could come and "cure" me with some energy machine, and then I could travel all over the galaxy!

I would travel back to the day before all my pain started and steer clear of what made me this way! Funny you started this thread b/c I think of this at least once a day! Great post!

I would travel back in time to knock some sense into my younger self.
If I only knew then what I know now!
