Has anyone had success with TENS units? I have heard that after awile that they stop working well. Is this true? I am the person who went on oxycontin for 10 years for a debilitating female condition and thought suboxone would help the pain. I was mad at my doctor for misleading me and didn't want to return his calls. Glad I listened to all you AWESOME people on here. He found me a CP doctor that will work with me. My doc told me to try the tens unit first so it looks good like I am trying a non medication route and if that doesn't work, which I hope it does b/c I HATE taking pills like everyone here does. He thinks I will eventually have to take the fentnyl patch. What dose whould I be on if I was taking 160 mgs of oxys a day for 10 years. Last thing I want is for it to not be enough and go into W/D. The suboxone raises your tolerance level really high. Would a 25mg patch help? Does the patch fall off If I go swimming, shower etc. I did try the patch 10 years ago and my skin became inflammed and you could see the outline of the patch after I took it off. At least I have hope now. Thank you for all your inspirational, kind words of the past. . Could a TENS unit touch the female genetalia? Any thoughts would help. Have a blessed night.
