Are you named after anyone?

My mom wanted to name me April because I was so tiny and delicate at
birth in April. My dad said, "What if she's a BIG girl?" As it turns out,
I'm really glad my dad won out. I'm not huge but ... oh, you know.

What are your favorite sounds?

Acoustic guitars, pianos, drums, voices ~ Music!

What is your favorite color?

A special color of Blue that I see only in my night dreams.

What is your favorite television show?

The Office, 30 Rock, Grey's Anatomy, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The View
and in the right season, American Idol! (I won't watch unless Paula Abdul
remains on the show and she might not)

What is your favorite smell?

Ohhhh Roses, Carnations, & Lavender. I love Hara Juku cuz it's cute.
If I had a million dollars I would spend it at the fragrance counter.

Would you take a bungee jump?

Of course! I'd take all my forum buds and we'd do a simultaneous leap.

Favorite Holiday?

January 1. Every new year I plan to do things right. Haven't done it yet
but I have some hope.

What is your favorite pet?

Oh, I guess it would have to be my unattractive cat, Ofeelya

What do you do to pass the time?

Fill out questionairs.

What is your dream vacation?

A castle by the sea with special quarters for the cook, the housekeeper,
the grounds keeper, the chauffeur, and the doctor. Why vacation?
It would just be my permanent living quarters.

What are you listening to right now?
Stones.

What's your favorite book?
I like Dean Koontz cuz he write scary stuff so well and he writes about the
areas I've lived close to. I am ALWAYS listening to a book. Right now
it's The Poisenwood Bible.

What's your favorite restaurant?
Good Mexican food. Anywhere. Anytime.

Favorite Movie:
This is NOT my all time favorite but just for fun see Baby Mama! Tina Fey Rocks!

I do LOVE Steinbeck. I've read Grapes of Wrath, listened to it on books on tape,
and seen the movie a couple of times.
I actually lived within a mile of Steinbeck's home in Salinas, CA. I made a
feeble attempt to draw his home.
Steinbeck got kicked out of his home town at the time he wrote. The townsfolk burned
his book.
But now he's a great big deal. Unfortunatley, he's dead.

"Boiling Pots" -- the sound of the boiling bubbling mud on the side of volcanoes - I have a Natural Sounds CD that I got when I was in Costa Rica that has that sound on it so I can listen to it whenever I want :).

Snickerdoodles fresh out of the oven - yummy!

No way! But I think it'd be fun to skydive, if I could.

Favorite Holiday?
Easter -- I love to have a bunch of people over to my home who wouldn't get a meal otherwise & cook for them. It started one year when my family ditched me saying I wouldn't be able to fix a whole meal for them. I had a whole dinner prepared with rosemary rack of lamb & everything so I invited people in off the streets. Now it's my favorite tradition. :)
