I have something very odd happening and wondered if any one else has had this same thing happen.
I have started loosing the hair on the part of my leg that is burning due to a disk pressing on the nerve. On my left leg, from the vertical center to the left, there is no hair on my knee and calf. To the right the hair is normal, thick and black. I am a white guy and have always had thick body hair. I told the doc about this and he said that it may be related to the nerve being compressed. The area that is balding is spreading as the burning spreads. Any body else heard of this? I am more curious that concerned with it, although it will make a good conversation item this summer.
