feeling exhausted for days now!

Hey people,

I have been feeling exhausted for about a week now. I lay awake in bed thinking about what I need to be doing but can't seem to be able to get up. When I do have to get up I have to push myself to move around. Then I become so tired that I have to lay back down. I know that I have not been sleeping well lately so I went to the doc today and got soem abien. I hope that this will help. I ache all over and just feel like I weight 500lbs. I can't figure is this is related to the cps or depression. Does any one else that suffers from cronic pain have this type of symptoms that come and go?

Hi Frankie,

Yes I have felt like this before from both chronic pain from fibromyalgia and from depression as well. Try to string a couple of good nights sleep together with your new addition of ambien and see if that improves things. If not, don't wait, go to the doctor and see if it is your depression. Are you on antidepressants now?? If so, have they been working effectively lately?? You have to investigate these things so that you get yourself moving again.

oh yeah, somedays this can be more of a struggle than others, have you tried maybe using a moist heat pad or
a warm bath at night before bedtime, might help...I hope the ambien will work for you, if not then I sure you doctor could try
something else, have you tried Melatonin a vitamin supplement it might help but ask your doctor about it before
trying it as it could increase the ambien effects...

Hi guys,

Thanks for the information from both of you. I am sorry that I have not replied to you before now. I really have been sick. The ambien let me have a vey interupted sleep. I have tried meletonin and benidryl and other otc sleep remedies. I am beginning to believe that my pancreus is acting up again. I am having much abdomen pain and have mot been able to keep anything down. I am really not that hungry either. I will follow both of your advice and see my doc if I don't fell better in a couple of days. Have you heard if cronic use of opioids will lead to problems with the pancreus?
