Jen,

I'm worried about you, are you here? If you are reading, please reply. That last thread about your boyfriend and the drugs and your kids really got to me. Everyone may have sounded pretty tough on you but it's just because they care about you. Please come back and maybe we can help! I appologize if I wrote anything that was out of line, I honastly wasn't trying to hurt you in anyway and I'm sure no one else was either. Please let us know you are alright!

I'm still here. I'm careful to post when he can't see then I erase the history so I can only peek now and then. I'm not ready to confront him yet. Thanks for caring guys.

Don't confront him Jen, that can be way to risky for you! Just find a safe place to go for you and your kids, and then go! But make sure it is a safe place and I think you know what I mean. Good Luck to You!

I'm so sorry it's come to this! I guess I was wrong about trying to help, save or reason with the guy. My prayers are with you. I hope you & your children are safe, please don't take any chances! Does he get physical w/ you? If he ever has in the past, get the "H" out of there!

Hi Jen:

I was reading your posts too...I know you feel trapped and I'm so sorry for that. what an awful situation to deal with on top of your pain and being a mom, a daughter to a father with cancer and an alcoholic mom. My goodness..you are a really strong woman, you know that?

FIrst question..is your BF the father of your children? IF he is, he's required to support them by law regardless of whether you are with him...

Second question..has he ever gotten in trouble with work in regard to his alcohol problems/drug problems? Or is this just something that he does at home?

Is there any way your BF could get help or would he resist that idea? Does he admit that he has a problem?

It's me again! Kind of nudging you once again to start getting more and more support for yourself. If you think you want to approach him, FIRST go to a local addiction treatment center and ask if they will help you do an intervention. But this is NOT something you do on your own. It requires preparation and thought. If you don't want to go that route, then you either need to leave or have him leave until he's involved in an addiction program. He's involved in too much stuff to stop on his own.

As others have mentioned, if there's any kind of physical violence (or threats - that's how it begins) you need to take the children and go to a safe place.

I really hope you get some help.
