Candy vs Pain Meds

Ok everyone 

This morning I was taking my pills.  I take 19 a day.  I was looking at them and noticed this.

2 look like Skittles

1 looks like and M&M

2 look like Pez candy

1 looks like Dots ice cream

 

Just thought it was funny....  Oh ya one looks like certs mouth mints also

What does yours look like??????

My Morphine looks like a faded orange mint, my HBP med looks like a blue Nerd, and my Diabetes med...well it looks like a big white oblong .....PILL!! ha ha No Skittles for me.....

Kind of underscores keeping these things out of reach and sight of little kids, eh? Not that we shouldn't for other reasons.

Honestly, though, most of my meds don't look like candy.

Although I've been trying of late to use M&M's for meds!! Unfortunately, all it's done is give me heartburn and an appointment with a GI doc!

A few months ago I went to family thing called "family affair", it's basically a bunch of booths of local bussinesses giving little free things to the kids while trying to talk the parents into spending all thier money on something we dont need lol, well this one booth had a glass box with a bunch of pills glued on one side and candies that look exactly like them glued to the other side, it was very scary to realize how much they look alike. But none of my pills look like any candy that I've seen, except my Suboxone kinda look like little orange stop signs, that taste like an orange peel, so I would think small children would find them kinda tasty cause they are not bitter, they're meant to kinda taste good cause you have to let them dissolve under your tongue, but I really dont like the taste of them and they make my tongue go kinda numb, And drinking orange juice right afterwards is the worst taste in the world lol.

Alright......you guys are too funny!!! I've never looked at my meds in terms of do they look like candy LOL. So lets see......my Percocet looks like...ummmm....a percocet hahahaha. My Kadian looks like a Kadian LOL and my other meds look like meds hahahahaha.

I'll stick with the real M&Ms.....switched to the pastel ones cause it reminds me of spring!

Ohhh by the way.....one of my Peruvian Lilies are coming up! After the big snow storm I thought they were goners but apparently its springing up through the ground just nicely! YAY!

Angel8 you are so RIGHT. One of my 20 yr olds friends saw me taking my pills a few months ago. When I take my pills its like holding a handful. He just kinda looked in my hand. It shocked me that he named off my xanax and my percocets!!!!! He knew the dose and everything. Just say that day it proved to me I better take my pills in my personal bathroom in the back of the house from now on. Thats so said the kids now days know so much about Pharmacy Meds

LOL  Pete...  My hubby used to take those but they gave him major headaches.  Then he tried the Levetra and those also gave him terrible headaches.  So lets say its the same here..lol  My hubby watches alot of football but hasn't played it since his army days..lol

I never thought of that.  Our bathroom is HUGE.  But I think I will move them to my bedroom.  Thank god our kids don't go into our room or bathroom they have their own space.
