The test results are in..... good news!!

Well, I went to the doctor at 8am and he did a manual exam of my breasts and found nothing and said the test result of the PIM mammogram was negative.  My personal belief is that this outcome is attributable to all your prayers and well wishes.  I thank you from the bottom of my heart.  Thanks for being on this journey with me.  I can finally relax and get back to my normal routine. 

I have set up a GYN exam the end of this month  ( I have been quite lax about that too)  so this was a wake up call for me to keep regular appointments.

By the way, my pain management appointment this morning was fine too.  All is well and I got my script refilled.

Oh, Lindaloo, that's wonderful!!!

I wish I could jump up and down for joy, but I'll have to do it virtually!

I wonder - did you by any chance mention to the doctor about having to wait to hear that? I mean, look at the needless anxiety! I have had that happen to me way too ofen with biopsies so I tend now to shrug off the wait (although I probably shouldn't...we'll see with this next one), but to me that was totally unnecessary with negative results. There really should be a way for us to demand as patients that a doctor gives permission to tell certain results via phone if he/she has discussed this with the patient. Even if results are "bad", I am one who likes to know them in advance so I can get the emotional reaction out of me BEFORE I see the doctor and have to be thinking about options. I am usually alone at my appointments, so there's no one else there to listen or talk for me. I'm rambling on a bit, but just thinking how needless all your worry was. Should have been a better way.

Thank God! I've been so worried about you Linda! I've been anxious for you, the last couple of days, as have many of us here! I'm truly overjoyed to hear that your test results were negative! Now you can finally breathe sigh of relief!! Time to celebrate!

I do hope that your pain will also decrease some, now that you have found out the fabulous news!

Linda, I am so glad you got to experience some good news. I think we should start a new thread and the only thing we can put on it is good news. Even when someone else gets good news it helps the rest of us and we try and help each other and we need to find hope wherever we can. Have a great night.

Glad to hear the good news.

Linda this is just awesome news and I am so glad to hear it. My older sister just fnished with radiation for breast cancer. She is doing very well, except the radiation has caused fatigue. She is back at work, I think too soon and having a pretty tough go at it right now.
