I'm trying...today's an evil evil day. I can't even pass out to escape my back. Add in the fact that I'm a female and still got my working parts...you know...the girl parts...and the fun fun joy joy of that monthly agony to depend on. Hehe...during my third surgery...I apparently started my period...and the drs...were all crazy worried at the dropping and then rapidly rising blood pressure. I spent the night in ICU where every other hour they were pouring pain meds or muscle relaxers into me. They didn't realize that I had female pain to add on the abdominal surgery pain until they moved me the day after that into a new bed. Today...kinda equals that. Sitting here...half joking to myself that it hurt worse then...but at the same time...wishing Fate would pull my thread so to speak. I'd bang my head on a wall if it'd actually make things better...but my headache isn't vanishing LOL.

have you tried a heating pad it can help??

Hope you don't mind me asking but what is Pentasa,? it doesn't sound
very good..

Holy moly!  What a surgery story!  You certainly know how to do it up good!  I am so glad you have posted.  Please stay and let us get to know you!  I love your attitude.  I love how you talk.  ( if that makes any sense at all)

Thanks...and Pentasa is nothing much. It's an anti-inflammatory that's really ONLY for the digestive system. It doesn't really cause me troubles actually. No side effects that I can see. If I don't take it...though, I feel sick inside and I know it. I can actually feel it. Your welcome Gretchen. I went and laid down for a few hours...eventually fell asleep for about an hour actually. Not much difference except that my headache's right on the edge of migraine now though. Just trying to take today as easy as I can.

yy. Isn't it a lovely disease to endure. They added UC to my CD in June of 05, life sure has been interesting with the two. Odd are less than 5%, well, I guess I fall in the odd category. At least you landed in the right spot, we all understand how pain effects us. I don't get to the CD forum alot, shame on me, but I sort of hang my hat here. When I look at the different categories to post from, gee, its a tough choice to make, because I fit in with so many other forums here at HW lol.

I do hate to see the Fibro dx with the CD, jeez that's enough alone. Thats a tough cookie to crack and hard to treat. We are really a frieinldy bunch here and we try to help each other out as much as we can. The old saying "birds of the feather flock together"  scene, thats us lol.

I do hope you will hang with here too. Take care and keep us posted on how you are doing.

Welcome! You certainly can post here - I appreciate the fact you already responded to my thread. That's very caring and thoughtful of you, despite the fact you're having such a bad day.

I hope you can find some relief from your headache. Layers of pain. That's how I think of many of these things. We just get one layer added on top of another.
