White Beard, I too am on Celexa. I really do like this particular chill pill as I call them lol. It did take about two weeks before I could tell it was kicking in, so give it some more time. I do hope it will work for you. I have been on some that if it wasn't taken every day at the same time I would feel really bad. Although, perhaps from habit, I try to take the Celexa every day at the same time.
For some reason nights can really be one of the loneliest times in the world. But, then add in not feeling well, having terrific pain, you are not sleeping well it just seems to magnify everything. . Nights seem to always be the worst when we are not well. But, we are going to be positive here and know the Celexa will help with this stuff. I do hope that when you get settled that you give yourself a gift, a pet. It has been proven pets helps with depression, they are the very best companion I can think of. They give an unconditional love and expect so little in return. I have 3 dogs you know, 2 golden retrievers and a Brittany Spaniel. There is nothing I like better than giving these guys hugs. When I am a little down and blue what these guys give me is is something else. I truly wish you would do it sooner. Please do this for yourself.
I expect you should see a drop in the utility bills now that only one person is in the house, that will help. Please do not give her another dime until you are ordered by the court to do so. She is a big girl let her be responsible for herself.
Do not let your guard down because she came by and decided to be civil. I expect she has realized how badly she shot herself in the foot when you dropped the bomb that her extra money was no longer going to be paid to her-stick to your guns on that, you owe her nothing. Remember, you said it yourself, in her job she has plenty of room to excel which means more money in her pocket. You my friend do not have that luxury-you are on a fixed income and need every dime you can get your hands on. If she does come to the house as she says she will-make yourself scarce while she is there, in other words keep your distance. If she tries to discuss any of the legal matters with you-cut her off-tell her to have her atty to contact yours. You need to make it clear with her you are done-no more BS taking from her, no more rolling over or turning the other cheek. You can do all of this without opening your mouth and saying one word, body language speaks for itself many times.
Since I have been MIA, the appt coming up with the neurosurgeon, is this the first appt since having the new MRI? You were doing eppies when I got sick.
Try to keep yourself busy especialy at night. That helps more than anything. I play alot of card games online at night. I do not like watching tv, hubby does. Take care my friend you are very important to us here, we depend on you in so many ways.
