I have heard from Anice she misses all of you (us)

Hi all I just got an E-mail from Anice and she said I could share with you that she misses all of us and can't wait to get back online. Anyway I am going to copy and paste some of her E-mail: Here is what she said:

("All of you have been so wonderful to me for all those months. I will always remember it. You have been there for me so much and have always given your concern and support for me. I don't think I could have made it though all of this without you and everyone else. And I am coming back.

My aunt will pay for the repair for my computer. I will be so glad to get it back!!!  I have cried like a little baby about it!!!  But it is more than a computer to me. It is like a loss, a lost connection. I knew that you all were always there for me on the forum, and now...It just hurts...I miss it sooo much. You all are my family, my true friends!!! 

Well, I will be keeping in touch. I mean that. And you can tell the others you have heard from me, and I hope to be back within the next couple of weeks. And that I miss them. ")

Well that about says it all!! I just thought you all would like to know how she is doing! Apparently she is able to make quick E-mails out from her work every now and then, but she can not be on line at work very often, So she has sent me a quick Email to let me know she is OK, and how she misses all of us!

I don't know if you can return e-mails to her since it's at her employer's (don't want to get her into any trouble there!) but if you can please tell her I (and I suspect "we") miss her, too. And hope that she is managing back at work and taking care of herself! But it sounds like the worst problem is no computer, and I sure know how I would feel if my computer broke down. I truly would see it as one of the biggest losses I could have because it would mean no connection with my Healing Well family.

So send her hugs and well wishes and tell her we'll be awaiting her return with rings on our fingers and bells on our toes!! LOL

Hi White Beard,

Thanks so much for posting this! I was wondering how Anice was doing! I'm so glad that she was able to contact you (and that her computer is getting repaired)! If you speak with her again, please pass along some hugs & prayers from me! I too miss her presence very much! We really are a family here on this forum & it doesn't feel complete when one of us is missing!

I sent anice a E-mail and told her what you said, I don't know if she can view this forum at her work or not, I know when she E-mailed me it was on her lunch break. Anyway I asked her to come see your post if she could! PALady I know exactly what you mean, I can't imagine not being able to communicate with all my family here at this forum! I really would feel lost!

Hi everyone!!!!  I want to thank WhiteBeard for posting this thread. I have missed you all so much!!! And I have felt lost without hearing and communicating with all of you. My computer isn't being repaired yet, but hopefully I can get it there by the weekend.

I am okay. I am still hurting all the time. But for some reason it doesn't seem as bad during the day, at work. When I am at home, or not at work, my pain levels are always higher. I am walking better. And ofcourse  I am real cautious at work, always saying "I'm fine" when asked how I am doing, and leaving it at that. I don't want to get in any long drawn out discussions at work about where, why and when I hurt, so I just decided to say that or when I am asked how it's going, I just say "it's going".  But for the most part, I do usually feel better at work. I am still on light duty. It sure doesn't feel like light duty at the end of the day. I do most of all the phone calls (nurses calls) for 4 doctors. That is ALOT of phone calls!!! And you all know I am a talker, but believe it or not, I don't want to talk much in the evening. I do get up a good bit to take charts to the station or to the front. There is no way I could sit all day long...I guess I get up about 3-5 times a hour. I do stay busy. And I do like that part. The other nurses are thrilled for the help. And I like helping. But I do miss the patient contact. It shouldn't be too much longer of this until I can go back to my area. I will be elated!!! It is good to be back at work. And I find I am better emotionally for the most part, since I've been back.

I will stop by as often as I can. I have gotten so far behind. But I think about how nice it will be when I get my computer back to read and read for hours and hours. I will be sooo happy. I miss each of you so much. And I am anxious to read how you all are doing. You all are so wonderful!!!

I just signed on and saw you had posted and came right to this thread! I'm so glad you seem to be doing well. You sound so much better. I'm sure work is helping you feel better in so many ways, and I suspect when you're there you forget about the pain for awhile. And that's great!

Just know we're thinking about you, too, and I'm sure you'll let us know as soon as your computer is repaired!!

I was also wondering how you were going? So glad to hear you're managing work, that is such good news. Work helps me deal with the pain too, just some days its too much. Just keep pacing yourself and looking after that back. Did the meany Head nurse give you a hard time in the end? Lovely to hear from you, golitho
