Ibby - so sorry to hear you have LPHS too, but also very excited to meet you! your the third person iv ever spoken to with it.

how did you get diagnosed? how long have you had it for? what meds are you on? are you able to work? do you have gross haematuria or microscopic?

sorry. i have like ten million questions, dont feel like you have to answer them if you dont want too.

i would love to talk to others with LPHS.

Screaming - im good, in lots of pain but just spent three hours at the mall so its worth it.

watching tv on the sofa with my puppy, until i can sleep.

hey Leisa !

Bit nervy about my scan tomorrow, hope they find something fixable.

iv had a good weekend;   am quite sunburnt though its already turning into a tan.

how are things with you?

i have a question, my hairs gone reeally dry after lightening it. is their anything i can do to keep it moisterised? i guess straightning it isnt helping. might lay off it abit.

 

pain wise iv been okay, went out saturday night to a friends and had abit to drink. i thought it would be awful today, but its actually been bearable :) in a very happy mood, just painted my toenails pink so they look nice with my new jandals.

thanks heaps; my hair is a dry frizzy mess.
im okay, tired and ready for bed; but pain keeps me up.
i enjoyed my bottle of wine abit too much. hahaha; shouldnt of but i did.
its quite rare, although i have been speaking to more aand more people with it.
theres only ever been one other case in NZ.
discussing pain meds with my doc, once i finish a month of recording in my pain journal.

Yeah, not good but i cant do much about it so just gotta keep going.
The support from you &everyone here is great.
My pains in my right side, i guess you would call it ?! but it goes up my back, down to my hip and in towards my stomach/bladder.
ugh, 2am and im awake, goh i hate this. im watching dvds, laying on a pile of pillows on the floor. im not comfy anywere :\
oooh christmas! weeel, i would love a new sofa + a recliner chair, but i dont think so. hopefully ill get my sun lounger , a bean bag and some clothes . we'll see. are you sorted for christmas yet? my mum and i went and lay-buyed a whole heap of stuff at kmart the other night, great fun! hehehehe. ooh im so excited :D

A friend of mine is a pharmacy student, and she recommended taking meds that upset my stomach with some yogurt. I'm not sure what it is that helps, but its made my stomach able to tolerate my hydrocodone and oxycodone. I hope that helps!!
