perimenapausal or pregnant? I'm 42 years old.

I had my period on Dec 23, then again on Jan 10, and again on Jan 31. My doctor says I'm perimenapausal, but I think he's wrong. I also had intercourse on Jan 3. I've been feeling strange lately. I'm just wondering could I be pregnant and not perimenapausal?

Gosh, if you are in chronic pain with these symptoms, I'd say go to another doctor! If not, maybe you would be better suited to another forum?

We welcome with open arms anyone who suffers from chronic pain. Are you having any pain symptoms on top of the possibility of being pregnant? Can you share more information about your condition so we can offer better support?

You definitely can take a pregnancy test and know if you are pregnant now. If you have Dollar Tree by you, you can go there and get a test for $1. They are very accurate.

My perimenipause lasted for about 10 or so years, starting in my 40's and ending in my early 50's...My OB/GYN said the average age to stop all that stuff was around 51 and that was real close for me. Guess a PG test would let you know and they can also do hormone testing to be sure if it is menipause
