Gosh I am now wondering if I posted my results from my last visit this past Friday.  Okay, so I had a doctor appointment with both my Psychologist and my PCP.  My psychologist is now pleased to release me from his service and if I need any help he is happy to see me when I need him. 

I am now approved for the Spinal Cord Stimulator!!  Now what this means is that I am psych. ready for the stim and I have been approved by my psychologist for its placement!  This is a time where I want to get my hopes up, but gee you know and I know what happens if I do.  Everything will crash around my shoulders. 

So I am taking a guarded enthusiam of this happy occasion! Now its up to my ins!

And it also sounds like you got a lot more out of the psych. visits than you thought you would.

Now it's the W.C. battle - but they having fewer and fewer legit reasons for denying you the trial.

Oh Scarred, I think its sad when we expect things to go wrong! I so hope this really works for you, you deserve some good luck going your way. it must be your turn for goodluck, dont you think?

Best wishes, lets hope the spinal chord stimulator is the answer you are looking for, or part of the answer. I know on this pain patch the pain hasn't gone but I feel like I can manage the pain. Lets hope the stimulator gives you that control. After all thats what we all hope for, some control back over our lives again.

Thank you so much everyone! I am trying really hard to contain my excitment so that I am looking at this in a focused and prepared state, but its so dang hard.

I glad you got the gold seal of mental health approval for stimuation. I have an SCS so I know each step toward implantation is important. I was turned down the first time with my insurance. My pain doctor personally got involved and they reversed their decision. I was wired in weeks. So remember a no along the way is not an end - just a stumble. Keep us posted.
