I've had carpal tunnel since '05, but it got very bad in '08 when I had surgery. But the pain returned last year, and worse than it was. I wasn't going to re-do surgery and found the Carpal Therapist discussed on wikipedia, and got one. Fine - it worked great, and I'm thankful (I just regret not using it before surgery). Problem is, now I have pain in my other (left) hand. I can't afford to buy another one (its made for left OR right hand). Does anybody know where I can get a (slightly) used one? The comapny can't help me there, and I tried ebay with no luck. I even posted an ad in my newspaper and gain no luck. Thanks, Walt confused

try craigslist or card on bullitin board in a medical center or hospital if they allow it or even a grocery store.

Hi.
I have one!
It's size medium, Left, so you have to be that paticualr size. I used it in December to get rid of my carpal tunnel so I don't need it anymore. I'd be happy to sell it to you (although I have to think of a price). And since my pain was gone in 10 days it's in almost new conditon. I have the power cord and the instructions and the sleeve too. In fact, I have the original box.

You can try joining a yahoo group like 'chronic pain'. I belong to it and I see posts all the time for people asking for this or that. Also, that group will most likely have somebody who has one available! Just a thought if you have not found one yet.

You can also join freecycle. You never know who might have one laying about.

I belong to a freecycle club in California and you'd be surprised at what you can get!
I got a TENS unit and a ****su machine and both were like new.
I think carpal therapist machines are just as common - so just join a group and see what happens!
