I have CRPS has anyone tried Spinal Cord Stimulation SCS? I have done the trail with good results. It was removed yesterday and today my pain level is extremly high and the real surgery will not be done untill May and it will be another 2 weeks before they will turn it on. I am exhasted trying to get back all of the pain fighting behaviors I been using this last year. I have to keep the light at the end of the tunnel in mind to cope.

Thank you Chutz. I need all of the help I can find. How can I search for post about RSD/CRPS. This is a vicious disorder. Today was always the best day of my life tomorrow was going to be more painful. My SCS trail was the first time I found any relief. Drugs don't work and nerve blocks did nothing. Finding this site is a flashlight in the dark. Thank you again.

Welcome! Yes, I agree...this site is like a flashlight in the dark. Even though everyone has different health issues, we all have pain so we all understand how difficult it is.

Hi again!

Near the top of the page is a wide blue bar with lots of links on it. The one on the farthest right is Join Healing Well. Under that is a search button. Click on Custom Google Search and fill is what you want to look for. It's that easy...once you can find the right button. ;-)

Welone 224, I am sorry to hear that you might be in need of a SCS. There is a great thread in the top 25 or 50 postings by BethW called...Neurostimulator Trial. There are several great posting on that thread about experiences people have had with the SCS. After you read that thread, please feel free to ask any questions you might have.
