Chronic Pain Patient 28 years old

Im a chronic pain patient and have been for the past five years regarding ruptured disk that are pressing on the S1 nerve root. Also as of recent I have been in terrible pain with 3 peri-anal absecces that have now caused a 5 inch fistula. Prior to the abscesses, working out believe it ot not helped the chronic back pain and now that I am forced to lay up and rest I have discovered Voltaren Gel. This stuff is amazing guys, and anyone in chronic pain should consider trying this stuff out! Just wanted to let those who suffer know.

Welcome to HW...I am sorry to hear about your pain issues...but happy that you have found something that is helping you..As Flower suggested...just be careful and take as directed since every medicine does have their side effects...

I posted about this gel a little while ago and found it to be a great help for my knuckles. My husband did not find it to be helpful for him at all and actually had a reaction to it. It just goes to show that each of us is so different. After reading the insert on it, I found that it was not recommended for the spine or some other places. I only used it on my hands, but like I said earlier, it was a "wondermed" for me. The "flare" has passed now, so I can't say if it will work again next time, but one can only hope.
