Hi everyone. I'm new to the healing well forums. I posted on the hepatitis forum earlier today as i had questions about that.

But my main health problems center around interstial cycstitis pain, fibromyalgia, and depression.

I've lived in so much pain for 18 years. only got treatment and understanding in the last 9. I've got the most wonderful and understanding doctor now. He actually listens. I could actually call him a friend. 

I'm on fentynal patches 100 micrograms, 30 mg morphine ir every 4 hours as needed, nuerontin, zoloft, elmiron. bladder injections i do myself directly into bladder. Until about 18 months ago i was on trazadone for sleep as well as others cant remember now but I found out i was pregnant in feb 2009. son born in aug. 2009. He was on phenobabatol for withdrawals from aug 28th until nov 4th. He did well. He is perfect and i thank the good lord above as well as my doctors for that. He is my 4th others are 2 girls 16 and 12 and one other boy 10.

Finding this forum has been a godsend. I've been reading it for a few days and decided it couldnt hurt a thing to be a member of such a nice, understanding community.  Sometimes in this private hell i live in I feel as if im the only person who hurts, suffers, crys all nite, things like that but reading in here i see i am one of many.

Sounds like you have a beautiful family and your baby will be one soon. How sweet. I bet you the older kids are always helping you.

Welcome aboard! Sounds like you have a wonderful family. I sorry to read about all of your pain. No one should have to handle so much. Good luck.

I thinkl we have some of the most caring and compassionate people that you will find any where on the internet! We can't fix you of course, but we can lend you our ears and listen to you, and give you support and advice. And if nothing else just let you know that we are here for you and you are not alone with your pain, we are here to help share your burden with dealing with chronic pain!

Hello Lost...welcome to the forums. As the others have said, you've come to a place of support and understanding. We all understand because we're all going thru it ourselves.

Are you finding your medications are working, or are you still suffering despite taking them? You mention having Fibro...have you tried Lyrica or Savella or Cymbalta for that? Those three meds seem to help a lot of people with Fibro (if one doesn't, another one might). I'm sure like the rest of us, you're a big fan of heat to help you feel better too!

Hi and I'm so glad you joined the family!

You are an amazing woman to get to this point in your life and to have a healthy baby boy in your arms. Bless you for being such a great mom!!

Always feel free to share and if need be you can make your post long...we all do it at times. Heaven knows I get very long winded when I get started...lol It's amazing how lonely you can feel with a large family around you. But no one is there with us in the dark hours in our mind, those times when the mind wanders and wonders. It's those times I often come to this family of mine and talk, cry, whine, share and sometimes laugh...OK, often laugh. Helping each other is what this place is all about.

Hello Lost and welcome to our forum! I have only been here about a month and I can tell you, it is like a family here! I did the same thing as you and spent a lot of time reading before I finally joined. My sister was a member and told me about the forum. Everyone here is amazing and you will find some great friends! I am sorry for the reasons that brought you here, but glad you are here! Take care of you!

gosh you guys i didnt expect so many replys.... made me feel right at home. antbuggy-i read some from you on other part of forum. glad your here with me. msbunky,.. my dr wants me to stay on nuerontin instead of lyrica dont know why. never heard of second one but cymbalta gave me terrible headaches.. and i never have headaches. well stress headaches more in my neck. but those on cymbalta were horrible and different. I do get some pain relief but i run out of my morphine 2 or 3 days early everr month. sometimes i call doc early sometimes i dont . He has never turned me down on pain meds. I ran out once in 2007 and ended up in hospital. but i get by with the fentaynnl patches when out of morphine. And guys i dont know how i would do it without my older kids. even the 10 year old helps with baby. my 16 year old does so much she swears she will never have kids. haha. hope thats how it is for a while. but i must say my 12 year old ( shes moderate to profoundly deaf- one ear better than other) born that way. shes the best with the baby. My husband helps with baby in evenings when kids in school i dont know how i make it thru those 8 hours. ive had to call mom to get baby so many times and i hate to say it but all 3 of the kids missed at least 10 days each just stayin home to help me with baby. But all three of them smart as tacks and passed with a's and b's i told them i need one of them to be a doctor so i wont have to pay dr bills as i get older lol.

Michael ( blessing in diguise i thought baby days were over so wrong) 10 months

Rose 13 both are stepdaughters that visit quite a lot

they help with baby but not with other stress.

And me im Kim i wil be 40 in a few days on the 24th feel ever bit of it., I guess i could have put all this on first part. But that was yesterday and i feel better today. do any of you guys know anyone on this forum with interstial cycstitis(IC). I would love to talk with them. Welcome to the family Lost.  I'm glad you found us.  As you can see, there are a lot of wonderful people here.  I felt so alone before I joined this forum, now I feel that I'm part of this big, wonderful, supportive and loving family.  I'm sorry that you're going thru so much.  I hope you feel better soon.  Take care of yourself.
