My doctor really didn't have an answer for that pain I'm having. He pushed the area and it didn't really hurt. He thinks it might be a nerve pain since it sends pain shooting down the front of my thigh. So, he put me on more pain pills and to let him know if they help. He also did a urine test and it was fine.

Well, at least you're not sitting on a hot appendix that's in the process of bursting!! How is the pain? Is it getting any better at all?
Hope you have a good day today Potsie - and as pain free as possible!
hugs,
Pam

MsBunky, thanks! It's feeling a little better. The pain meds help a lot. And yes, I'm glad it's not my appendix.

No, but I wouldn't be able to go right now. I'm tied up to my hubbys problems. Don't have much time for my problems. I've got a bad back and have Sciatica. So, I have this new pain in my leg, in front of my thigh.

Potsie, possibly the pain you are experiencing is coming from your lower back along with the sciatica. Before my lumbar fusion my pain would radiate across my back, through the hip then down through the groin area and then down the front of my leg. The nerve that runs that course is the femoral nerve. Seems like most people are affected by the sciatic nerve but there are alot of other nerves to contend with also.
At that time I was seeing a chiropractor and he was the one that noticed that while lying down my legs were the same length but when standing my one leg was shorter than the other. I started wearing a slight lift in my one shoe and it really helped with my pain. After the fusion I had this checked again and low and behold my legs were the same length and the insert wasn't needed anymore. Just a suggestion that wouldn't cost much money to have checked out.
