after waiting six months, i finally got my surgery date for the implant.. July 23 is the big day! I cannot wait! of course i will be a little nervous, but that is expected. i will be spending the first night in the hospital, which is a relief to me! i will keep you posted

Good luck Rena! I just had my stimulation system permanently implanted 4 days ago. You'll do fine! I was really sore at first, but I've been healing fast. I'm sure you'll do the same.

Is your system a Medtronics or Boston Scientific? Mine is Medtronics.

mine is a boston scientific! my one concern is the pain level for the first week! my doc told me that i will have a lot of pain for the first week and then it should get better after that. as i said earlier, i will be spending the first night in the hospital, which i am very happy about. glad that you are doing well with yours. keep smiling

The pain was more than I expected, but I'm bouncing back fast. I'm sure you'll do the same. They debated keeping me overnight, but in the end let me leave.
